Laptop exploded (Final Assignment)

 

       I heard that batteries of laptops or cell phones exploded in several times. I use laptop every day even my husband’s laptop. So I am scared it because it is possible threat for me. I do not know exactly about the basic factors of these devices, I think the overheated or badness Li-ion battery may cause explosion.  I go to the library, the Student Union the cafeteria and outside cafeteria, I always see students who use their laptop. Most students and teachers use their laptop wherever. If someone’s laptop explodes during the class, this will be disaster.  I have read an article about explosion of laptop, but answers of companies whose laptop exploded were unclear about it. Even cell phones sometimes exploded during calling. When I am talking over my cell phone, it may explode. I do not want to think that! I think devices that use batteries happen about explosion such as PSP or MP3. I sometimes check my laptop or cell phone whether they overheat or not. People devices that use batteries will take care.

L’Arbre des possibles et autres histoires(The Tree of Possibles)

These novels are written by Bernard Werber. Bernard Werber is famous novelist from French. His style of writing mixes different literary genres, notably the saga, the science fiction of the inter-war years, and tracts of philosophy. He is even considered as a celebrity in my country. I have read some novels of Bernard Werber the Ultimate secret), L’Arbre des possibles et autres histoires (The Tree of Possibles)Empire of the Ants). His novels are very interesting for me especially “The Tree of Possibles.” I recall “the Tree of Possibles” among one of novels. ” The Tree of Possibles” is a selection of short stories. I read this book 4 years ago so I cannot remember story easily. “The Tree of Possibles” made me too much thinking during reading it. I think this book was light story but it gave me to think something. Most stories are very queer, and deal with the basic source like various problems in society. I have remembered among some of them; unknown writer became a famous person to mass media after 100 years or the left hand gained self-control…. There is the biggest reversal in every story. I will read other novels of Bernard Werber in summer vacation.

Super Lego Mario..

 

     When I was young my father got a Nintendo video games for my brother and me.  My brother and I came to know Super Mario Brothers at that time. We were crazy about Super Mario Brothers. In Super Mario Bros., Italian plumber Mario must save Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom from the evil Bowser, king of the Koopas. The main theme music of this made me to be exciting. I heard that the famous main theme; a Latin jazz score that matches the bright, cheery and fast-paced nature of the majority of the game’s levels. I usually watched that my brother did games because I have not been a good gamer. I remind my childhood whenever I hear this main theme music. So I still have a Super Mario collection to keep in my PSP. In addition, I think Lego as “Lego bricks” is very interesting. Maybe, most people played it like me when they were young. There are other Lego pieces which can be assembled and connected in many ways, to construct such objects as vehicles, buildings and even working robots. Some Lego manias collect every new products of Lego. I am not mania but I like Lego.

Spring

      MY Symptoms about the spring

     I do not like spring pretty much. Even though the weather is warmer than the winter, the spring weather is changeable. Near the spring, I start feeling sleeping and low spirits. Sometimes, I cannot find the reason why I feel so out of place in the spring. I have many allergies such as a pollen allergy; they always get worse in the spring. Nowadays, I start developing symptoms of the pollen allergy slowly like sneezing, runny nose and itch. When I lived in Seoul, I have gone to picnic under the cherry blossoms even having allergy. After picnic, I was miserable. I always make plans in the spring. One of my plan is doing yoga and exercise regularly. I restart doing yoga because I would like to feel fresh. I do not want feeling sleepy and low spirits. I think that my mind and body look like fresh due to doing yoga or exercise. However, it is not easy to me. I put it off during the winter just because of cold so I feel my body becomes stiffened. Last Tuesday, my husband and I took a walk for 2 hour in Ottawa Park. Next day, I felt very tired and my muscles pain. I think spring go fast!!! But I hate summer!!

    

Clocky!!

 

Most people who live alone depend on alarm clock when they get up. However, I depend on my husband instead of alarm clock. I am always trouble to wake up in the morning even though I have 4 alarm clocks. I think my life pattern is irregular and I usually go to bed lately average at 3 or 4 a.m. . So, my husband mostly wakes me up every morning. My alarm clocks do not help me to wake up. Unusually, I cannot hear their sound in the morning. One day, I found amazing alarm clocks to surf for the website. This alarm clock, named “Clocky” is one of among the amazing alarm clocks. Clocky is cute product and looks like a cart. Clock runs away to make a loud noise till someone terns off its switch. I think if I have clocky, I may be tired in the morning. It is because I catch it up every morning until I awake for a minutes. So I will be more tired. I try to do a regular life. “Success depends on your mind.”

“Man always remember love because of romantic only”- Marlboro, I heard that this name come from the sentence. Marlboro is a brand of cigarette. I was interested in cigarette name why come from romantic sentence. Most of my friends are smokers, so I know about kinds of the cigarette because of them. Though all of the smokers know about the danger of the cigarette, they can not give it up. I think that cigarette is addictive like drinking so people could not quit easily. They said that cigarette is not only a drug, but also a medicine for them, because it can make them to be absorbed in doing things. From much information, we have understood the pollution of the environment and many causes of disease may be all from the pest of cigarette. So I think it is necessary to take action with smokers. That is not only for you, but also for the others. In my opinion, smoking is optional, but it is not good for health. It is all depend on yourself whether you can give it up or not. If our will is more iron, the day is at hand without smokers.

Pygmalion Effect

    People tend to live up to what’s expected of them and they tend to do better when treated as if they are capable of success. This is “Pygmalion Effect.” It is a kind of  self-fulfilling prophercy. When you believe the team will perform well, in some strange, magical way they do. But when you believe they will not perform well, they don’t.  “you get what you expect.” 

     The Pygmalion Effect is based on Greek mythology. Pygmalion, who was the king of Cyprus, carved an ivory statue of the perfect woman, who he named Galatea. With the help of Venus, and his own loving belief, Galatea was brought to life. This power of belief was the basis for George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion and the musical My Fair Lady. In short, the Pygmalion Effect is the belief that we will usually get what we expect.

Is this Basket or building?

World’s Largest Basket Building

     Central Ohio, Columbus, has been called basket country! The Longaberger Company is a well-known basket company and is located head office in Newark, Ohio. I am very curious about it. It is because I think it is not building.

     This building that has 7 floors is a special landmark in Ohio. This shaped a giant basket shows the changed colors of a building according to sunshine in day and illumination in night. Most people who pass near it at first time will stop it  for a moment and will see it. I think a person who  designed a giant basket buthisilding  is very amazing.  There are other basket near it. It is the World’s Largest Apple Basket in Frazeysburg, OH, a house-sized picnic basket in nearby Dresden, OH, and  the Big Easter Basket in Lorain, OH. Someday I will go there.
